A leading digital streaming network seeks a Director of International Strategy to support high-impact strategic initiatives across global markets. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive end-to-end strategy projects, deliver executive-level insights, and support business development and international growth initiatives across multiple lines of business.
Director of International Strategy Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end strategy projects, including scoping, analysis, and executive-level recommendations, ensuring high-quality deliverables for senior leadership.
- Conduct market, competitive, and international business analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies that support global growth and performance.
- Support business development initiatives, including partnerships, new market opportunities, and select M&A or joint venture activities through business cases and strategic frameworks.
- Respond to ad hoc executive and corporate requests (e.g., Strategy, Finance, Investor Relations), delivering structured analysis and materials for board and earnings preparation.
- Own recurring executive reporting and strategic updates, including performance tracking, stakeholder alignment, and preparation of presentations and briefing materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with international teams, corporate functions, and business units (e.g., Distribution, DTC, Studios) to align on strategic priorities and support planning processes.
Director of International Strategy Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
- An MBA from a leading program is preferred.
- Experience in top-tier management consulting and/or in-house corporate strategy at a major company.
- Direct experience within media, entertainment, streaming, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects end-to-end from problem definition through recommendation with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel), with advanced PowerPoint capabilities to develop executive-level presentations.
- Experience supporting business development initiatives, including partnerships, M&A, or joint ventures, is preferred.
- Exposure to international markets through project work or regional roles is preferred.
Shift:
- 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Some OT is expected.
