A leading digital streaming network seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and performance management while providing strategic financial support to senior leadership and business teams.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives; lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-term financial planning processes, including monthly forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including financial analysis, greenlight evaluations for new games and acquisitions, monthly reporting to senior management and the CFO, monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances, and developing KPIs and metrics to track financial performance.
  • Provide financial analysis, guidance, and strategic support to senior leadership, department heads, and business functions, prepare and present detailed financial reports and recommendations while serving as a strategic business partner and helping ensure budgets align with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Control project costs in partnership with team leads, ensuring compliance with financial policies and adherence to budgets, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies, and manage complex negotiations and relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary finance contact with corporate and studio finance partners and collaborate across management, business development, development, marketing, and centralized controllership functions, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve financial planning and analysis systems and tools, including company-wide ERP/FP&A systems, while supporting team development and adapting to a fast-growing, creative, and changing environment.

Director of Finance Qualifications:

  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Strong financial planning and analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, long-range planning, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and monitoring financial models, KPIs, metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Experience working with department heads and senior executives as a strategic financial business partner.
  • Supervisory and management experience, including supporting team members through guidance, instruction, and professional development.
  • Experience controlling project costs while maintaining compliance with policies and budgets.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with corporate finance, studio finance, controllership, management, business development, development, and marketing teams.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting financial planning and analysis systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning and financial planning and analysis systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Spanish oral and written language proficiency.
  • Ability to build diverse and inclusive teams, encourage clear and frequent communication, and clearly define roles and expectations.
  • Experience with Oracle financial systems is preferred.
