A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a Director of Awareness Media - North America. The right candidate will develop and execute awareness media strategies to meet brand awareness, consideration, and acquisition goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in multi-channel paid media strategies, ideally for an entertainment company, with a proven track record of testing and measuring media investment to establish business impact. Director of Awareness Media - North America Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $65-$80/hr
  • Worksite: Leading podcast and audiobook company (Newark, NJ 07102 - Hybrid)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Director of Awareness Media - North America Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute best in class awareness media strategies across TV, online video, sponsorships, cinema, audio, out-of-home, display, and paid social channels.
  • Explore innovative media partnerships with media owners to drive awareness and consideration of the company beyond traditional media placements
  • Manage the awareness media budget and optimize spend across channels.
  • Lead agency relationships and cross-functional partnerships to support brand imperatives and growth goals.
  • Oversee incrementality tests and improve media measurement in collaboration with Business Insights.
  • Recommend yearly and quarterly investment strategies in collaboration with our media agency and grounded in data
  • Stay current on digital media industry trends and recommend innovative approaches.

Director of Awareness Media - North America Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of multi-channel paid media marketing experience, preferably in entertainment or subscription services.
  • MBA or graduate degree is preferred.
  • Experience with attribution, incrementality, and media measurement models.
  • Experience in utilizing customer insights for successful marketing campaigns.
  • Media agency experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills.
  • Expertise in budget management and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are preferred.
  • A deep understanding of subscription revenue business models is preferred.
