The right candidate will develop and execute awareness media strategies to meet brand awareness, consideration, and acquisition goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in multi-channel paid media strategies, ideally for an entertainment company, with a proven track record of testing and measuring media investment to establish business impact. Director of Awareness Media - North America Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $65-$80/hr
- Worksite: Leading podcast and audiobook company (Newark, NJ 07102 - Hybrid)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
Director of Awareness Media - North America Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute best in class awareness media strategies across TV, online video, sponsorships, cinema, audio, out-of-home, display, and paid social channels.
- Explore innovative media partnerships with media owners to drive awareness and consideration of the company beyond traditional media placements
- Manage the awareness media budget and optimize spend across channels.
- Lead agency relationships and cross-functional partnerships to support brand imperatives and growth goals.
- Oversee incrementality tests and improve media measurement in collaboration with Business Insights.
- Recommend yearly and quarterly investment strategies in collaboration with our media agency and grounded in data
- Stay current on digital media industry trends and recommend innovative approaches.
Director of Awareness Media - North America Qualifications:
- 10+ years of multi-channel paid media marketing experience, preferably in entertainment or subscription services.
- MBA or graduate degree is preferred.
- Experience with attribution, incrementality, and media measurement models.
- Experience in utilizing customer insights for successful marketing campaigns.
- Media agency experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills.
- Expertise in budget management and forecasting.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are preferred.
- A deep understanding of subscription revenue business models is preferred.
