A leading university is seeking a Data Aide to support oncology clinical research by managing study data, maintaining research databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, collecting, validating, and analyzing research data while supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining high-quality documentation in a fast-paced clinical research environment.

Data Aide Responsibilities:

  • Enter, validate, and maintain clinical research data in research databases and electronic systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain data collection tools, record-keeping procedures, forms, and database guidelines to support oncology clinical research studies and ensure consistent data management practices.
  • Perform data audits, quality checks, and validation activities to verify compliance with study protocols, institutional procedures, and established data standards.
  • Utilize computer applications and reporting tools to manipulate, analyze, and generate reports from complex research datasets while supporting data collection and analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical research staff and data providers to clarify data inconsistencies, maintain accurate documentation, and provide administrative support as needed.

Data Aide Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of related experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with approximately 1 year of relevant experience in data management, data entry, clinical research, healthcare, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience supporting oncology clinical research, including data entry and management of clinical and research data, is preferred.
  • Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) and proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications.
