A leading university is seeking a Data Aide to support data management activities by maintaining complex databases, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with the development of tools and processes that support data integrity. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Data Aide Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and maintain data within computer systems and complex databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Develop and maintain record-keeping procedures, data collection guidelines, forms, and tools to support data integrity and efficient data management processes.
  • Analyze, manipulate, and generate reports from complex data sets using appropriate computer applications, formulas, and programs while identifying usable data patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with data providers to resolve data ambiguities, inconsistencies, and discrepancies, while integrating information from multiple sources when required.
  • Conduct audits of data and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, while providing administrative support as needed.

Data Aide Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems; EPIC experience is preferred.
  • Strong clerical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer proficiency with the ability to work effectively with databases and data management applications.
