A leading digital streaming network seeks a Credit and Collections Analyst. The successful candidate will ensure timely revenue recognition and cash collections by working with the Theatrical Distribution team and sales team, and contact exhibitors to resolve A/R balance issues. Credit and Collections Analyst Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $40/hr
  • Worksite: Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid, Must be in the office on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 8 Month Assignment

Credit and Collections Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Review sales terms and billings.
  • Send statements to exhibitors.
  • Manage daily cash application.
  • Review A/R balances after cash application.
  • Research discrepancies and open A/R balances after cash application.
  • Manage automated cash application voucher interface with sub-ledger system (SMART).
  • Validate & manage cash received in SMART to ensure e-vouchers are applied timely. Update SMART with all wires.
  • Complete applying cash receipts within 2 days after receipt
  • Maintain assigned accounts and backup the other Analysts when necessary.
  • Notify the Senior Manager of delinquent accounts that are at risk of defaulting on payment.
  • Monthly updates to the Senior Manager on aging A/R status.
  • Run the Holds report and follow the holds review business process.

Credit and Collections Analyst Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with the ability to use Excel to calculate and analyze data; basic Excel is acceptable.
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle E1 is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the entertainment/media industry is a plus.
  • Experience in a multi-location company.
  • Experience in media billing and sales systems.
  • Ability to evaluate problems and identify unique approaches.
  • Ability to deal with conflicts in a cross-functional environment and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to use discretion, maintain customer confidentiality, and act with integrity.

Shift:

  • Flexibility with work schedule is an option: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm is the standard; however can consider 8 am to 5 pm.
