A leading professional development and networking comppany is looking for a Content Strategist to support the Product Education and Readiness team, which is responsible for creating, organizing, and publishing company’s internal product content for customer facing teams. As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating content for a set of products that align to the needs of a line of business. You'll be working with a Product Education and Readiness Specialist to create a data driven content strategy for current product launches, provide timely content for feature releases, and interact with product leadership and partners to understand the evolution of the products.

Empowering our internal and external customers with the right content at the right time is our number one priority. The role is dependent on your ability to collaborate with partners and team members across locations to gather the information required to develop relevant and complete content for our help center audiences. You will be working closely with Product Operations, Knowledge Management, and Project Management teams to create and define a great content experience for company members and customers.

Content Strategist Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $35-$40/hr
  • Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Omaha, NE 68144 or Chicago, IL 60661 - Hybrid)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Content Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver accurate and timely content for a line of business with guidance from senior/manager.
  • Develop high-quality content as per GTME quality program and based on inputs from stakeholders.
  • Build subject matter expertise for a designated area of work.
  • Monitor and leverage content data to determine health of content and share insights with partners and writers.
  • Create and present project plans to business partners that are clear, concise, and establish agreement among business partners to see through the plan.
  • Collaborate, build relationships, and share knowledge with global team members and partners as needed.
  • Participate in the peer-to-peer review process to improve the quality of content and provide open, honest, and constructive feedback.
  • Prioritize, resolve, and respond to internal inquiries/cases in a timely fashion.
  • Model company’s culture and values and actively participate in developing a healthy team culture.

Content Strategist Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of industry and technical writing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in knowledge management practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in working with content management systems (any) and authoring tools (any).
  • 2+ years of experience project management content creation.

Content Strategist Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, or related
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering e-learning solutions using tools like Articulate.
  • Experience in DITA or other topic-based authoring methodology.
  • Knowledge of Information Mapping, Topic based writing or similar methodologies.
  • Proficiency in authoring content in ServiceNow will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Wiki, CRM (any).
  • A team player who can develop strong relationships with partner and writing team.
  • Enjoys working within teams (both local and global) but can also work independently.
  • Curious, innovative, and passionate about learning.

  • Flexible and willing to help with other projects, as needed.
