The leading professional networking and job search platform is seeking a Content Marketing Lead to develop and execute a strategic content program focused on educating and empowering small business audiences. This role will own the content strategy, create high-impact thought leadership and customer-focused content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling narratives that drive brand awareness, product adoption, and customer engagement.

Content Marketing Lead Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy, including long-form playbooks, customer success stories, thought leadership content, and research-driven reports tailored to small business audiences.
  • Create compelling, customer-centric content that translates complex products and solutions into clear, actionable guidance while supporting every stage of the marketing funnel.
  • Partner with product marketing, brand, communications, insights, web, and global marketing teams to ensure content consistency, strategic alignment, and localization for international audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase customer success through interviews, case studies, and data-driven storytelling that demonstrate measurable business outcomes.
  • Analyze content performance metrics, audience insights, and engagement data to continuously optimize content strategy, editorial direction, and brand messaging.

Content Marketing Lead Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, brand copywriting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience creating long-form business guides, playbooks, thought leadership content, and research-based reports.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and content strategy skills.
  • Experience developing content for B2B and/or small and medium-sized business (SMB) audiences.
  • Deep understanding of the small business ecosystem is preferred.
  • Experience launching new brands, programs, or content initiatives within a global organization is preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using engagement metrics and audience insights to optimize content performance is preferred.
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple content formats are preferred.
