Compliance Analyst*

The duties and essential job function of the Compliance Analyst is to support the program and compliance requirements by developing and completing monitoring processes to auditing EMR/drug utilization data and third party applications. This position works collaboratively with the purchasing personnel to ensure program compliance as it relates to their purchasing processes.


  • Data Management, Reporting and Analytics o Completes daily, weekly and monthly monitoring processes by running reports and performing analytics to measure and manage program compliance.
  • In consultation with others and the Compliance Manager, determines process and requirements for regular reporting and analytics o Maintain third party application data (“Split-Billing Software”)
  • Daily management of drug NDC data such as billing units, utilization, purchase data and product specifications
  • Monitor direct purchases by maintaining the process to upload and audit weekly purchase activity
  • 340B Compliance
  • Comprehend and articulate the general regulations and guidelines of the compliance program and how they relate to company System
  • Complaince team members are responsible for completing monthly self-audits of company claims
  • Implement action plans and procedures that result from audits
  • Assists in documenting company procedures relative to the compliance program
  • Assist the Compliance Manager in providing education to company and purchasing staff related to the 340B drug pricing program and compliance
  • Assist in HRSA site registrations and the recertification process; manage tracking and documentation
  • Strives to consistently improve the overall efficiency and compliance of the program
  • Compliance Contract Pharmacy Operations
  • Compliance team members are responsible for completing monthly self-audits of company claims
  • Implement action plans and procedures that result from audits
  • Assist in tracking financial information from the contract pharmacy operations


  • Full Working Knowledge of EXCEL
  • ACCESS experience a plus
  • Ability to understand analytical spreadsheets
  • Manipulate data sets and validate contracts and pricing
  • Strong communication skills

  • Self starter and ability multitasking
  • Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools.

  • Detail oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of professional and technical staff
  • Proven ability to serve as a technical resource providing advice and counsel on business intelligence issues
  • Experience and proven skills in data review, auditing and reporting
  • Maintain flexibility in a fluid environment as part of a team that is establishing new policies and procedures
  • Experience in a healthcare setting

  • Experience developing and drafting policies and procedures
  • Two years of related experience
