A leading audiobook company is seeking a Community Operations Specialist to support a creator-focused marketplace by coordinating community programs, supporting fraud prevention initiatives, analyzing operational and royalty data, maintaining policy documentation, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen and protect the creator ecosystem.

Community Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, meetings, escalations, and day-to-day operational support for the creator-focused marketplace team, including fraud prevention initiatives, royalty inquiries, creator support, and community programs.
  • Maintain policy documentation, draft policy language, communications, and program materials, while partnering with Product, Risk Management, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, and other internal teams to support the creator-focused marketplace community.
  • Analyze royalty statements, operational data, compensation models, and other business information to generate insights, support decision-making, and leverage AI-powered tools for data management, reporting, and email campaign list creation.
  • Serve as a trusted advocate for the creator community by identifying community needs, supporting online engagement initiatives, monitoring emerging trends, and helping improve policies and programs that enhance the creator experience.
  • Apply strategic thinking to investigate complex fraud scenarios, collaborate with Risk Management and Legal teams to protect the marketplace, manage competing priorities, and support continuous operational improvements.

Community Operations Specialist Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working with data, analytics, AI tools, community operations, or business operations, preferably within the audio, publishing, music, film, television, or related media industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Experience using data analysis, reporting, AI-powered tools, and business intelligence to support operational decision-making.
  • Ability to think strategically across legal, financial, operational, and community-related issues while working effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with social media trends, online communities, and creator ecosystems.
  • Passion for books, audiobooks, independent publishing, and the creator economy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the creator-focused marketplace, its creators, and community is preferred.
  • Bilingual language skills are preferred.
