Community Manager

The Groups team is focused on connecting the world’s professionals through quality conversations within communities they trust. We are looking for a community manager to cultivate actively engaged group members and admins. 


  • Identify, activate and motivate community builders for the company across multiple segments and industries
  • Drive adoption of Groups through direct outreach
  • Organize webinars and workshops to help group admins and members, and support community-driven events
  • Build guides for best practices and how to, and collect examples of successful groups 
  • Measure results and use data to prioritize future investments
  • Devise campaigns to help group admins and members be successful at community building
  • Collect feedback from group admins and members and organize insights
  • Assist with user research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Influencer marketing or online community building background
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and drive to help creators succeed
  • Versatility to apply the right tactics and messages for group admins and members with diverse backgrounds, levels of experience and goals
  • Strong persuasive writing and speaking abilities
  • Ability to juggle high-volume inbound contacts while staying organized and productive
  • Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for contributing in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Creative thinker with the analytical skills to measure success
  • Experience with social media listening and analytics tools

$45-$65 Per Hour            San Francisco, CA 94105             6-9 Month Assignment with possibility of extension/conversion
