Building active communities is a critical marketing priority, and we’re launching a new program to realize this vision. We’re looking for a Community Activator with the experience, passion, and leadership to kickstart meaningful engagement within key target segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, activate and motivate community builders for the Company across multiple segments and industries
  • Drive adoption of Company’s Flagship products (Messaging, Groups, Profile, Feed and Content Creation) through direct outreach
  • Organize webinars, workshops and meetups to help members, and support community-driven events
  • Build guides for best practices and how-to, and collect examples of success stories, use cases and content
  • Measure results and use data to prioritize future investments
  • Devise industry-specific campaigns to help creators be successful at community building
  • Collect feedback from members and organize insights to action plans
  • Conduct user research to uncover key needs and drivers of target segments
  • Connect Company’s mission and vision to the needs and drivers of target segments

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Influencer marketing or online community building background
  • Strategic corporate communications, PR, or media relations experience at a large company is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Natural storyteller with excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience with brand storytelling for a consumer brand
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and drive to help community builders succeed
  • Expert-level user of multiple social media and video platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.), with passion for new forms of content and the creators behind them
  • Comfortable pushing creative boundaries and having the versatility to apply the right tactics and messages for creators with diverse backgrounds, levels of experience and goals
  • Ability to juggle high-volume inbound contacts while staying organized and productive
  • Comfortable creating video on social media platforms and occasionally appearing on camera
  • Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for contributing in a fast-paced product development environment and thinking on your feet
  • Creative thinker with the analytical skills to measure success 

$55-$60 Per Hour           New York, NY 10118            6 Month Assignment
