A leading medical institution seeks a Communications Coordinator. The ideal candidate has between one and three years of experience in communications, marketing, media relations, or a related role.
Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Monitor shared inbox, assess requests for routine health system-wide email distribution, escalate as appropriate.
- Format and lightly edit health system-wide emails, manage approval process, distribute email to designated listerv.
- Transcribe monthly manager/leader meeting minutes, summarize key presentations, manage presenter approvals, post summary on intranet, distribute email to designated listerv.
- Maintain a list of institutional awards and achievements, create simple presentation slides for use by for use by manager leaders.
- Manage intranet web content, including submitted staff briefs, employee discounts and routine banners crated by vendors.
Communications Coordinator Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, media relations, or related role.
- Experience in healthcare, higher education, and large, complex organizations is a bonus.
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress), email distribution tools (ContactMonkey) and project management platforms (Workfront) is preferred.
