A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company seeks a Cinema and Gallery AV Technician to support the operation of state-of-the-art cinema and gallery audio/visual systems, being responsible for operating audio, video, lighting, and projection systems for technology demonstrations, film screenings, corporate presentations, and special events while delivering exceptional technical support and customer service in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Cinema and Gallery AV Technician Responsibilities:
- Operate professional audio, video, lighting, and cinema projection systems to support technology demonstrations, film screenings, corporate presentations, and live events.
- Route digital and analog audio/video signals, set up presentation equipment, PA systems, monitors, and microphones, and ensure reliable operation of all event technologies.
- Perform content management, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for cinema projection and A/V systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of projection booths, technical spaces, equipment rooms, and storage areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service while collaborating with event teams, technical staff, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful event execution in a fast-paced environment.
Cinema and Gallery AV Technician Qualifications:
- Experience operating professional audio, video, lighting, and projection systems in a corporate, entertainment, broadcast, or live event environment.
- Strong understanding of audio and video signal flow, cinema projection systems, live sound mixing, wireless microphone systems, and live event production workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting complex A/V systems with excellent problem-solving, documentation, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Experience supporting PowerPoint presentations within a corporate event environment.
- Experience operating cinema projection systems is preferred.
- Experience with Dante, Pro Tools, and Audio Architect is preferred.
- Experience programming or operating Crestron control systems is preferred.
- Experience working with complex KVM systems is preferred.

- Flexible availability to support weekday, evening, and weekend events.
