A leading music streaming company seeks a Channel Marketing Manager to provide expertise in direct response marketing and yield the best response in email marketing campaigns. The selected candidate will help drive acquiring, engaging, retaining and winning back customers. This includes executing marketing communications, enabling speed to market, improving response and other business KPIs. The candidate should be an innovative and results driven marketer, with specific experience within the email channel.
Channel Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple project schedules and ensure deadlines are met with an output of successful campaigns that meet/exceed the business sales goals.
- Execute day-to-day email marketing campaigns to engage and convert trialers. This includes developing new campaigns as well as amplifying recurring existing campaigns effectively and efficiently.
- Manage campaign development process with our ESP professional services partners, managing assets, tracking codes, completing campaign requirement documentation for campaign set-up, using UTM builder to establish UTM tracking, tagging UTMs / URLs and other elements required for campaign execution and reporting, and ensuring successful and timely deployment of campaigns.
- Oversee QA and auditing for email and online sales flows. Conduct email proofing to ensure email content and offers are presenting correctly and user experience is optimal.
- Serve as liaison between business units, channel leads and cross-functional teams to support campaign development and execution. A high level of collaboration among many key stakeholders is critical.
- Facilitate the end-to-end creative development process. From writing briefs that are based on data-driven best practices and channel insights to evaluating creative and giving appropriate feedback to support its development.
- Leverage content to drive engagement. Utilize our robust content to drive further engagement across various audiences.
- Monitor performance and share learnings: Monitor the health of email campaigns - pull & analyze performance reports and communicate optimization recommendations/findings to other cross functional stakeholders.
Channel Marketing Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of engagement and retention email marketing experience focused on campaign development, execution & analytics is a must.
- Bachelor's degree with focus on marketing or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- 2+ years of project management experience working across various cross functional teams
- Experience in email marketing is a must, experience in other digital channels (social, app, website) a plus.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in a subscription model business is a plus.
- Strong ability to execute business initiatives & projects on a timely basis with an eye towards quality and accuracy.
- Extremely process oriented and can run project schedules - keeping on top of deadlines and deliverables.
- A modern marketer with a digital first mindset.
- Strong acumen in spreadsheets, table management and campaign requirement set-up and documentation.
- Deep understanding of direct response principles and tactics
- Able to communicate & collaborate effectively with all levels of management & partners while operating in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of web and email production and deployment, including URL structure, parameters, redirects and logic.
- Experience with Project Management Tools (i.e. Workfront, Monday.com, etc.)
- Knowledge of various reporting tools including Tableau or similar BI platforms (i.e. Adobe reporting, Google Analytics, etc.).
