A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Calibration Technician (Day Shift) to support calibration, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair activities for advanced test and measurement equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service quality, supporting customer commitments, and ensuring reliable operation of high-technology instrumentation in a fast-paced service center environment.

Calibration Technician (Day Shift) Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration, adjustment, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions when appropriate, and escalate complex problems to senior technicians or engineering support teams.
  • Support internal operations and external customer requirements by providing technical assistance, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring timely service resolution.
  • Adhere to calibration, repair, ESD, connector care, and quality processes while meeting productivity, throughput, cycle time, and workmanship objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, operational efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Calibration Technician (Day Shift) Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic test and measurement equipment is preferred.
  • Relevant technical education, military technical training, specialized certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, calibration, or instrumentation.
  • Experience calibrating and repairing signal generators, including equipment operating at frequencies up to 67 GHz.
  • Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues of limited to moderate complexity.
  • Experience working with ESD controls, connector care procedures, service documentation, and quality programs.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, engineers, technicians, and support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships and maintain high standards of professionalism, quality, and business ethics.

Shift:

  • Day Shift: Start time between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. The exact start time can be determined.
