A leading electronics testing and measurement company is looking for a Calibration Technician of Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment. The candidate will perform calibration on a wide range of manfacturer equipment and company products at our facility in Nashua, NH and some customer sites in the area. The company offer a family-oriented environment.
Calibration Technician Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $29/hr
- Worksite: Leading electronics testing and measurement (Nashua, NH 03063 - Onsite)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
- 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
Calibration Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment at our service center or at our customer's sites.
- Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.
- Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on company and non-company products.
- Install software and firmware upgrades that may include re-image of the customer’s instrument.
- Utilize strong computer skills including automated Calibration Systems, Microsoft Office and other applications.
- Understand, and utilize STE, TME, and PC based calibration software as required.
- Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 quality program.
- Assist in maintaining the Calibration team’s accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, quality measure assurance programs, and applicable training.
- Use excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interface with customers and peers.
- Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and the company's test equipment assets.
- Ensure compatibility between customer expectation and support provided by the company.
- Work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives
Calibration Technician Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant calibration experience
- Must have calibration service experience of all types of Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills to 50 GHz.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics.
- Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Requires ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software.
- Ability to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures.
- Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
- Must be flexible and capable to work in a changing priorities environment to meet strict performance metrics.
- Understand project timeline, goals and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.
- Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and the company to solve complex project objectives.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Eastern time.
- Able and willing to work overtime as needed.
