A leading medical institution is seeking a Cadence Analyst to support Epic scheduling, referral, and patient access initiatives in a fully remote environment. This role serves as the primary analyst for MyChart Scheduling and Referral workflows, partnering with operational and technical stakeholders to design, build, optimize, and maintain Epic solutions that improve patient access, scheduling efficiency, and referral management across the organization.
Cadence Analyst Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary analyst supporting MyChart self-scheduling initiatives, including direct scheduling, open scheduling, workflow optimization, configuration, testing, and ongoing support.
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Epic Referral and Authorization workflows, including referral templates, workqueues, rules, and related patient access processes.
- Collaborate with Cadence, Ambulatory, MyChart, and other integrated Epic application teams to analyze business requirements, develop workflow solutions, and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Perform system analysis, issue resolution, testing, documentation, and enhancement activities while ensuring solutions align with operational goals and Epic best practices.
- Support ongoing system optimization efforts by evaluating workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing analytical expertise for scheduling, referral, and authorization processes.
Cadence Analyst Qualifications:
- Experience supporting MyChart self-scheduling workflows, including direct scheduling and open scheduling.
- Experience supporting referral and authorization workflows, including work queues, referral templates, and complex rule build.
- Experience gathering requirements, troubleshooting issues, testing solutions, and supporting Epic system enhancements.
- Experience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows is preferred.
- Epic Referral & Authorization certification.
- Epic MyChart certification.
- Epic Cadence certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow design skills.
- Ability to serve as the primary analyst for Referral and MyChart Scheduling initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Cadence, Ambulatory, MyChart, and other integrated Epic applications.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.
