The Corporate Controllership team is looking for a creative and versatile Business Process Analyst with experience in the Record-to-Report (“R2R”) area, including general accounting and portfolio management. This individual will work closely with the accounting and finance teams to enable process and system improvements that will scale the finance organization. This role will work with key stakeholders to clarify and communicate business requirements, contribute to the definition and design of solutions and ensure alignment of business solutions and needs. This role will be an individual contributor reporting to the Director of International Policy & Compliance.

Primary internal customers will include the Corporate Controllership and FP&A team, Business Applications, other business process owners outside of R2R. The ideal candidate must be able to use a diplomatic, professional, and service-oriented approach in interacting with these customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs business process analysis, assessments, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Creates business requirement documents (“BRDs”), designs user acceptance test scenarios and test scripts
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, identifies gaps, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, and drives decision-making
  • Performs testing prior to UAT for diligence, follows-up and closes out on any open items
  • Manage and monitors user acceptance testing
  • Manages communication between business and technical teams
  • Coordinates meetings with cross-functional teams, including internal customers and third-party consultants to manage requirements for all stakeholders
  • Diligently follows-up on the status of initiatives as a measure of accountability
  • Implement and manage regional projects and enhancements by working closely with global managers and business applications teams to ensure standardization
  • Creates comm messages for monthly team status reports and global updates to key business partners
  • Researches and applies best practices and offers guidance and recommendations by identifying areas for improvement and potential solutions
  • Documents R2R business processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with professional training
  • 3 or more years of relevant qualified experience
  • Previous operational experience as a business analyst leading and designing projects
  • Oracle 11i or R12 experience is required

Preferred Requirements:

  • Project management professional experience preferred
  • Exhibits subject matter expertise in any/some areas
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to multiple audiences, including various levels of management
  • Experience working across cultures and geographies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of overall business processes within finance
  • Team player, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and multi-task 
  • Strong technical aptitude (learns new processes and systems quickly) and solve complex problems 

$80-$90 per hour          Sunnyvale, CA 94085            8 Month Assignment
