One of the most prestigious and well-known universities is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for the medical center's electronic health record (EHR) system by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports, and delivering them to stakeholders. Business Intelligence Developer Responsibilities:
- Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs for data requests.
- Gather requirements, document, clarify, interpret specifications and review for completeness and accuracy.
- Design, develop, validate and perform thorough functional testing of extracts, reports, visualization dashboards utilizing analytics tools and data sources such as, including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Tableau, WebI, SSRS, Power BI, Caboodle, Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, Universes, Registry Framework and Data Marts, SlicerDicer, and other Business Intelligence Tools.
- Participate in application validation and QA efforts as they pertain to data, metrics, and analytics solutions creation and execution.
- Manage the inventory of BI objects and outputs. Assure that the metadata used for the Analytics Catalog is meaningful, standardized, complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Manage the data model for reporting for assigned Epic applications and/or business lines.
Business Intelligence Developer Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Medicare Advantage experience,
- 3+ years of Tapestry experience (cert is a plus).
- CMS claims submission and HCC coding experience.
- Understanding of the 837 process with MOR, MAO and MMR files and condition capture.
- Risk Adjustment model and Claims submission.
- Strong SQL Datamart.
- Risk adjustment is a plus.
- Epic Clarity Data Model certification in one or more modules (EpicCare Inpatient, Hospital Billing, Prelude ADT, Radiant, Willow, Optime) or to be obtained within 120 days of hire.
Shift:
- 8:00 am - 05:00 pm.
