Broadcast Infrastructure Technician
- Hourly pay: $40-$50/hr
- Worksite: Leading music streaming company (Washington, DC 20002 - Onsite)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension
A leading music streaming company seeks a Broadcast Infrastructure Technician. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support for our broadcast and IT Systems, studio personnel, and remote users.
Broadcast Infrastructure Technician Responsibilities:
- Review system operations logs, install software, and firmware updates to a range of broadcast-specific hardware and IT-based workstations and servers- both physical and virtual.
- Assist and troubleshoot technical issues for both in-house and remote studio users.
- Contribute to our 100% On-Air uptime goal by utilizing your troubleshooting skills, knowledge, and experience to support the broadcast facility and studios.
- Help to improve workflows and increase our level of technology.
Broadcast Infrastructure Technician Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in a broadcast or media content creation facility.
- College degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military or industry experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs, Lucidchart/Visio, and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Basic IT and networking knowledge required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be comfortable on a ladder.
Shift:
- Must be available for 24x7x365 on-call coverage and flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
