Administers and communicates the company's benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment, and other requirements. Surveys market data in order to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits. May assist in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the annual benefits strategy and philosophy that drives the development and positioning of benefits programs
  • Develop cost models, forecast analyses and plan design recommendations on a variety of US benefits programs
  • Consult and advise employees and managers on all benefits related questions
  • Develop and deliver global benefits training and communication for leaders and employees
  • Participate in the global benefit survey submittal and receipt process
  • Support and maintain a relationship with benefits brokers and carriers
  • Manage the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes including plan design analysis and modeling and development and delivery of the open enrollment communication and training materials 
  • Administer benefit plans including eligibility, enrollment, vendor management and assistance with employee questions/issues.  
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations 
  • Participate in ongoing product releases and testing
  • Participate in research and analysis for policies and programs
  • Participate in professional benefits organizations and networking groups to understand trends in our industry
  • Partner with the payroll department to ensure accurate benefit deductions and earnings

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge in benefits plan design and administration
  • Advanced experience with regulatory compliance in benefits programs
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and administering benefits programs
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a benefits analyst for a global company
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (ideally with Human Resource, compensation, benefits and/or organizational development concentration).
  • CBP Certification Preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with excel, word and power point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

$40-$45 per Hour         Pleasanton, CA 94588         9 Month Assignment
