A leading digital streaming network seeks an Audience Development VP to support international billing, vendor operations, creative requests, and campaign operations.

Audience Development VP Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive audience development strategy that drives fandom and viewership, using linear programming as the initial launchpad and extending momentum across streaming, social, digital, and partner platforms.
  • Develop and execute audience strategies to maximize reach, engagement, conversation, and fan participation, and prioritize titles, platforms, and distribution opportunities based on audience potential and business impact.
  • Own platform partnerships and placement funnels, treating social and digital channels as measurable acquisition funnels, and build always-on fandom and community infrastructure across platforms.
  • Establish an audience development measurement framework, including executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and discovery-source attribution, integrating demand, attention, and retention analytics into strategic decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Programming, Research, and other internal teams, lead and coach agency partners, and document methodology and playbooks to ensure the function is transferable.

Audience Development VP Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in audience development, programming strategy, entertainment marketing, content strategy, streaming, television, digital media, or consumer media growth.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience driving both viewership and fandom for television series, franchises, tentpoles, or entertainment brands.
  • Understanding of linear programming, on-air promotion, audience flow, scheduling priorities, and how linear momentum can be converted into multiplatform engagement.
  • Experience developing show-specific audience strategies across linear, streaming, FAST, social, digital, partner platforms, and owned direct-to-consumer environments.
  • Strong command of fandom-building tactics, including community engagement, social conversation, creator and cast amplification, fan rituals, repeat viewing, and always-on audience relationship management.
  • Working command of content metadata systems, universal content identifiers, EPG and scheduling feeds, and the mechanics by which recommendation and search systems ingest and rank catalog content.
  • Experience managing relationships with Programming, Marketing, Research, Distribution, Product, Platform, Social, and Ad Sales teams to coordinate audience growth plans.
  • Fluency in audience measurement, including ratings, reach, frequency, streaming engagement, social conversation, sentiment, retention, cohort behavior, discovery-source attribution, and fandom health indicators.

Shift:

  • Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
