A leading consumer products company is seeking an Associate Merchant, Digital Merchandising Direct to Consumer. The successful candidate will support merchandising analysis and managing the day-to-day business for our digital sites and direct-to-consumer merchandising. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business levers and passion to play a business role, as well as experience analyzing business trends and comfortable with financial numbers. Associate Merchant, Digital Merchandising Direct to Consumer Pay and Benefits:

Associate Merchant, Digital Merchandising Direct to Consumer Responsibilities: 

  • Support merchandising analysis and managing the day-to-day business for our digital sites and direct-to-consumer merchandising. Reviewing and sharing insights on revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Support and help manage the seasonal merchandise calendar and align with cross-functional teams on the calendar.
  • Support improving AOV, Conversion, Search, Discovery, and Check-Out on our sites by managing A/B tests and tickets with the Product team.
  • Help kicking off surveys and tests with our UX team.
  • Executing competitive analysis and trend research for merchandising support.
  • Drive opportunities with site navigation and improved taxonomy for site discovery and organization.
  • Align on SEO opportunities and optimizing PDPs, Category Pages, Homepage, etc (all site assets.)
  • Continuously analyze and optimize categories to maximize revenue and conversion. Partner with merchandising team on all opportunities and new discoveries.
  • Focus on improving the on-site customer shopping experience and ease of operations through a customer-first approach that identifies areas of improvement and focus.
  • Support managing tickets for site updates and opportunities for testing and improving the site.
  • Manage alignment and execution for site promotional experiences and partner closely with the site assets manager to execute all appropriate materials.
  • Champion merchandising initiatives across the DTC organization and brand teams when appropriate.
  • Support demand planning for merchandise and initiate changes to strategy for challenges in inventory. Always be forward-thinking to create opportunities and minimize risks to inventory levels.
  • Request assets needed to improve the site based on data and research findings. Using data analytics to make all decisions. Upload and adjust assets as needed or in partnership with the Creative Production Associate.

Associate Merchant, Digital Merchandising Direct to Consumer Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of previous merchandising experience, 1-2 years of eCommerce experience preferred.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel. Experience with data analytical tools like Looker, FullStory, and heatmaps is a plus.
  • Web analytics experience required.
  • Business Acumen - strong understanding of business levers and passion to play a business role.
  • Technical skills – experience analyzing business trends and comfortable with financial numbers.

Job Type: 

  • 20 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
