  • Hourly pay: $55-$60/hr

A leading professional networking company seeks an AI Linguist - Engineer. The successful candidate will design and execute solutions for AI quality, evaluation, and annotation. The company offers a great work environment!

AI Linguist - Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Generative AI prompting, human input, and hybrid approaches in the development of scalable and high-quality human judgment workflows.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis and provide linguistic insights for project development.
  • Be part of working groups that develop high-quality human judgment/annotation/evaluation pipelines.
  • Create documentation and guidelines for standard procedures of internal processes
  • Research new methodologies for process and product improvement.
  • Maximize productivity, process efficiency, and quality through streamlined workflows, process standardization, and documentation.

AI Linguist - Engineer Qualifications:

  • 2+ years relevant industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience with large-scale, end-to-end human judgment flows and tools for the training/evaluation of AI models
  • 2+ years of experience to break down linguistic data requirements into concise, clear instructions and designs
  • 1+ years of experience programming in Python or any other scripting language
  • B.S./B.A Degree in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • MS or Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn technical concepts and new tools, and a keen interest in technology are preferred.
  • Experience with human judgment projects and flows is preferred.
  • Experience with complex and scalable data annotations and evaluations is preferred.
  • Experience with programming languages in the data annotation space is preferred.

Shift:

  • Preferred working hours: 8:30 am - 05:30 pm Pacific Time office hours.
