ACX QA Engineer

ACX QA Engineer 787686


  • Review submitted audiobooks to ensure adherence to requirements
  • Communicate with internal teams to push titles further along towards retail
  • Communicate with and advise providers who’s submitted titles do not meet our requirements
  • Communicate with and advise providers who submit samples for our review.  
  • Provide recommendations for achieving better quality productions.
  • Respond to ACX Producers and Rights Holders with audiobook production-related questions
  • Process and track audio revision requests
  • Update internal tracking documents
  • Provide metrics to internal teams
  • Contribute to content that supports our producer educational efforts 

Basic Qualifications:           

  • Three to five years’ experience working within a media production environment
  • At least two years of experience in project-flow management is a plus
  • Expertise on PC computers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with networked systems
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to handle rapidly changing scheduling on a daily basis
  • Experience summarizing data for business executives
  • Experience in voiceover recording, editing, or producing audiobooks a major plus
  • Passion, energy, and creativity

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Audiobook production experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel/VBA
  • Software development experience
  • Experience teaching VO production techniques and/or explaining the complexities of audio production to the uninformed

$20-$25 per Hour       Newark, NJ 07102        9 Month Assignment
