A leading digital streaming network is seeking an Accountant. The successful candidate will assist the team with monthly, quarterly & annual deliverables (Residual Accounts Reconciliation, Inventory Cash reclass reconciliation, Cash Balances reconciliation, Stale Dated Report reconciliation, Cash Mapping Reconciliation report, and Miscellaneous support schedules). The ideal candidate has five or more years of experience.

Accountant Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $35-$40/hr
• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Hollywood, CA 90028 - Hybrid, Must be in-office on Tuesdays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist the team with monthly, quarterly & annual deliverables (Residual Accounts Reconciliation, Inventory Cash reclass reconciliation, Cash Balances reconciliation, Stale Dated Report reconciliation, Cash Mapping Reconciliation report, Miscellaneous support schedules).
• Preparation of monthly journal entries (Intercompany journals, Cash journals, Legal journals, Fixed Asset journals, Residual journals, Production Insurance journals, Budgetary allocation journals etc).
• Support the team with IBM Cognos analytics related to various activities (Cash Accounts, Right of Use accounts, Fixed Asset and other liability accounts);
• Perform the coordination & verification of stop payments with the Production Finance Team.
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures (adoption of new ERP & other corporate accounting systems).
• Ensure compliance with GAAP financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations as mandated.
• Perform ad-hoc research and analysis as required.

Accountant Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• Experience with Oracle or Cognos is nice to have.
• Proficient/Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables).
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in Oracle is a plus.
• Ability to analyze spreadsheets and journal entries.
• Good communication skills.
• Organizational skills, time management, multitasking.

Shift:

• 9 AM-6 PM.
