Avi Networks delivers public-cloud-like agility for application services beyond load balancing including deep application analytics, predictive autoscaling, and security in the data center or public cloud.

 

Summary / Responsibilities:

Avi is looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager to build and expand Avi’s customer base in given region. You must be comfortable working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, building solutions and closing sales. You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing major accounts, as well as closing complex sales. You should expect to spend 80% of your time in the field with prospects, customers & partners. Proficiency with Salesforce.com is preferred.  Startup experience is a bonus.

 

Responsibilities:

-Develop and manage pipeline to overachieve on sales targets

-Uncover, educate & close prospective customers

-High level of forecast accuracy expected 

-Pricing and contract negotiation experience 

-Manage relationships and maintaining high levels of customer service 

-Coordinate with pre-sales, marketing and engineering 

 

Qualifications:

-Proven track record building a pipeline and delivering on sales targets 

-BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience 

-Experience selling subscription software 

-Experience in networking, load balancer and/or ADC markets 

-Ability to deliver product presentations via web casting tools 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

-Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

- Must be able to work under pressure with limited resources

- Proficient with Salesforce.com
