Product Manager


The Product Manager will be part of the product management team at Avi, responsible for driving product strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day execution of product delivery.


Role and responsibilities:

Primary tasks:

  • Defining and evaluating product licensing and pricing models

  • Performing competitive pricing analysis and building pricing tools

  • Helping sales team build pricing proposals

  • Leading pricing discussions with customers

Other tasks:

  • Helping drive product lifecycle management: working closely with customers and sales teams on requirements gathering, collaborating with PM and engineering teams on product prioritization, feature definition, and user experience, and driving product execution and delivery

  • Creating and delivering technical collateral and customer presentations



  • Experience building licensing and licensing models, and pricing tools

  • Experience with competitive analysis and product positioning

  • Experience managing technology product lifecycle, including understanding customer and market requirements, defining and prioritizing product features, and working closely with the engineering team on the execution

  • Technical understanding of networking and infrastructure software, including L4-L7 network services

  • Experience with virtualization, and private/public cloud technologies

  • Self-sufficient, high-energy, and willing to operate in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors of Engineering in CS/EE or related software engineering discipline is a must, MBA desired

  • At least 2 years of experience in product management, including at least 1 year experience with pricing/licensing
