Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities through targeted research, direct outreach, and strategic communication. This role plays a critical part in building the top of the sales funnel by identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, and qualifying leads for our Sales and Account Management teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume outreach and a proactive mindset, with the ability to effectively engage potential clients via platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo/Lusha, curated lead lists, and email campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and cold/warm outreach.
Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo/Lusha, and CRM-integrated lead lists to generate qualified leads.
Manage initial outreach to prospects, evaluating their needs and aligning them with AV Concepts’ services.
Build early-stage relationships and nurture leads until they are ready to be transitioned to Account Managers or Sales Leaders.
Support strategic initiatives across vertical markets by targeting key client contact lists.
Develop, track, and report on outreach efforts and lead progress within the CRM system.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Subject Matter Experts to align on messaging and outreach strategies.
Maintain data integrity by entering accurate leads and all client outreach and interaction information into the CRM.
Job Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a business development or outbound sales role.
Demonstrated success in high-volume outreach and lead generation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage prospects and build trust quickly.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Ability to stay highly organized, work independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo and/or Lusha preferred.
Knowledge of audio-visual production or the staging/event industry is a bonus.
