Director of Programmatic Sales

Job Description

Our newly established company is on the cutting edge of audio advertising, and we’re looking for someone who has established and deep relationships in the advertising community to help it grow. Our Director of Programmatic Sales should elevate Audiology’s presence with top agencies and brands to drive serious revenue growth. We need a self-starter who wants to transform the digital advertising landscape to blaze the trail for the future growth of audio advertising… pretty cool.

You are

A born hunter who understands the big picture. You are driven by high achievement revenue growth. You thrive in a fast-paced, high intensity/high impact, and rapidly evolving environment. You have extensive experience in programmatic advertising and you have witnessed the pitfalls of mismanaging programmatic partnerships. You are intimately informed about trends in the programmatic space and are fully aware of the technology landscape. You are team player with a can-do mentality.

 

You will

  • Drive demand among programmatic buyers across agencies and trading desks. Evangelize the market and promote the benefits of digital audio as part of the media mix
  • Identify relevant programmatic audio buyers and build robust pipeline of demand opportunities
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision makers at agency trading desks, DSP’s, Exchanges, and other sources of programmatic demand
  • Define sales strategies and marketing plans
  • Organize and participate in industry sales events, PR,…
  • Travel as necessary to support business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)

 

You have 

  • A commitment to excellence and a proven record of sales achievements against quantitative targets
  • 5+ years of sales experience with experience selling programmatic related solutions in the agency arena with the contact list to prove it
  • A strong understanding of the programmatic digital advertising ecosystem and technologies (e.g., SSP’s, AdExchanges, DSP’s, DMP’s etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • An awesome sense of humor and entrepreneurial spirit
