Senior User Researcher

UX | Raleigh, NC | Full Time

Job Description

Before we wireframe a page, sculpt a content strategy, or whiteboard a coding approach, we want to know our users. This knowledge goes deeper than anecdotal evidence, one-size-fits-all best practices, and even our top designers’ instincts—to truly know our users, we rely on research: a rigorous combination of testing, surveys, iterations, and analysis that discovers what our users actually need and how we can best deliver it for our clients.

That’s where you come in. As a Senior User Researcher, you have the analytical expertise to take the lead on in-depth user discovery and the curiosity to discover thoughtful insight into the source of any user problem. You have a scientist’s dedication to analysis and methodology, a psychologist’s ability to listen and understand the throughlines in user feedback, and an educator’s ability to present your findings in a clear and compelling manner to all kinds of audiences. Binding all these roles together is your professional dedication to collaborating effectively and delivering actionable results to clients on a set timeline and budget. If this description has you leaning forward to learn more, we want to hear from you.

Because this is a senior position, our ideal candidate has strong leadership qualities and is able to mentor other employees in user research methodology and best practices. Preference will be given to candidates with agency or other client-facing experience.
