Presently we are looking for a Software Architect / Principal Engineer (Data Ingestion) to work remotely with our team in California on our latest project. This position requires:

  • 10+ years of software development experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with modern data ingestion platforms such as: Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, and/or Luigi 
  • 10+ years of experience with Node.js, Python, or Java using frameworks like Spring or Django 
  • experience with lean agile development
  • experience with event-driven technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
  • experience with relational (MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational (Redis, Dynamo, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Hbase)
  • experience with Microservices and scalable object-oriented RESTFUL web services
  • must have an understanding of distributed design patterns using cloud-based systems including AWS
  • good team collaboration and ownership skills 
  • conversational level English (read, write and speak) is a must
