Presently we are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to work remotely with our team in California on our latest project. This position requires:

  • 5+ years of experience with building, deploying, administration and monitoring of SaaS applications and related infrastructure
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and systems administration
  • Demonstrable experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Understanding of high availability and scaling solutions like caching, CDNs, load balancing
  • Demonstrable development and scripting experience with languages like Python, Go, bash
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef
  • Experience with build systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Hands on experience with monitoring and APM tools such as DataDog, SignalFX, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, Icinga
  • Experience with log aggregation tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, SumoLogic
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of both RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions like MySQL, MSSQL, Casandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc. from an Operations perspective
  • Experience with system hardening and implementing security controls is a plus
  • Good team collaboration and ownership skills 
  • Conversational level English (read, write and speak) is a must
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent training + experience  
  • A desire to continuously learn and grow professionally
