Opportunity

Asurity is looking for a Mortgage Services Associate. In this role you will be responsible for several tasks within the loan receiving, recording, countersigning, and delivery procedures. In-depth document reviews and detailed notations are critical to keeping the pipeline running efficiently and guarantee auditing ease. You will be joining a small collaborative team where questions are not only welcome but heavily encouraged. Job specific training will be on-site; previous experience not required.

Job Specifics

Due to the handling of physical loan documents this role is IN OFFICE located in downtown Dallas. We are a business casual office environment and are looking for hard working and friendly people to join our rapidly growing team.

This position is full-time and hourly. Starting hourly rate is $17/HR.

Responsibilities

  • Open mail, and scan the physical documents to be reviewed digitally
  • Maintain physical loans organization
  • Review loans (FHA, VA, USDA), graded titles, and insured titles as instructed during training
  • Mail documents to various people and entities
  • Record documents nationally through several venders (CSC, Simplifile, etc.)
  • Maintain and update digital folders, manifests, and any ancillary documents (POA, death certificates, etc.)
  • Respond to client inquiries timely and professionally
  • Adhere to processing compliance timelines
  • Follow quality control systems and procedures

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in our Dallas office Monday through Friday
  • Customer service experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Past experience in mortgage is ideal, but willingness to learn is essential
  • Full time Monday-Friday availability. Occasional overtime when necessary
  • Basic computer literacy is required (Excel, Word, outlook, and PDF editing software)
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and regulatory changes
