We are seeking an experienced outside sales Account Executive to sell innovative technology and audio visual solutions/services to area builders, Interior Designers, Architects, and Homeowners in the DC metro area and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal team

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 1-3 recent years of direct technology solutions outside sales experience.
  • Recent experience selling at least one of the following: Audio Visual Residential integration solutions: Lighting Control: Window Treatments: Networking: Satellite or Home Telecom Solutions.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to high net-worth individuals
  • Proven and successful outside sales hunter with strong closing skills.
  • Experience selling to residential clients
  • A proven track record in capturing new business
  • Ability to recommend and educate clients on current AV technology
  • Ability to set and achieve goals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Good computer skills
  • Good Driving Record
