Senior Analyst

Job Description

Artemis Real Estate Partners (“Artemis”) is a well-capitalized real estate investment fund manager based in Washington, D.C with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Artemis makes equity and debt investments in distressed commercial real estate located throughout the United States.

Artemis is seeking a highly-motivated, dynamic individual to join the firm as a Senior Analyst. The primary role of the Senior Analyst is to support the company's acquisitions, asset management, and capital raising efforts. In this capacity, the individual will work with senior management to source, underwrite, and manage new real estate investments. The candidate will also be expected to assist in other areas of the firm as necessary.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Support development of the company’s investment strategy.

  • Oversee the due diligence/underwriting process on potential new investments.

  • Prepare Investment Committee memorandums describing potential new investments and participate in the presentations to the Investment Committee.

  • Develop and maintain financial models.

  • Execute/oversee business plans for new investments.

  • Assist with capital raising presentations and other investor relations requests.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience.

  • Preference given to previous employment at a principal real estate firm, real estate brokerage, or real estate investment bank.

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Financial modeling experience (candidates will be required to take a modeling test).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high stakes, and rapidly changing environment.

  • Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
