The ARCA Manufacturing & Supply Chain team is seeking a Receiving professional to join our team in Mebane, NC.   The time commitment is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm with occasional overtime.  The position is temporary to permanent, with a potential full-time opportunity for the successful candidate.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating daily work to receiving/material handling team members

  • Promoting the use of standard work and work instructions

  • Attending scheduled meetings to represent Receiving

  • Communicating metric status to Team Lead

  • Coordinating engineering requests through Process Specialist as required

  • Communicating previous days receipts and receiving goals in daily huddle

  • Pulling, replenishing and putting away stock

  • Cycle-counting as assigned by Inventory

  • Inspecting, accepting, or rejecting inbound shipments

  • Entering materials into computer system and keep real time records of quantities of product, and location where it is stored

  • Delivering product to appropriate personnel or departments

  • Keeping aisles clean and clear of material

  • Assisting material handlers and shipping as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of prior work experience in receiving in a manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems both independently and as a member of a team

  • Enjoy being challenged and thrive in a fast-paced environment
