We are seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembly technician who will help expand our capabilities and manage an expanding team. 

This position involves bringing our research and development creations to life.  Utilizing engineering plans and procedures you will be assembling first of their kind robotic systems.  Tasks include

  • Methodical and procedural assembly of robotic components and assemblies to include precision machine parts, press-fit bearings, and ball screws
  • Test performance of robotic assemblies, using instruments such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters 
  • Electrical component assembly to include building wiring harnesses and soldering
  • QA/QC of products to include the development of testing and troubleshooting procedures 
  • Documentation of procedures and development of user manuals
  • Customer support to handle technical questions about components issues

Requirements:

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • EXCELLENT verbal and oral communication skills
  • MUST be proficient with computers.  A large part of the job is going to be documentation and process development.  
  • Familiar and capable of computer and software programs
  • Experience with precision fabrication and assembly to include power tools and equipment
  • Excellent hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Writing skills to develop technical manuals and other product publications
  • Ability to talk with and communicate with customers
  • Good problem solver
  • Initiative and self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision
