ABOUT THE JOB:  

The Aparavi Business Development team consists of a small group of seasoned professionals with one purpose…change the world of data management through significant revenue growth and market expansion of the Aparavi solution.  As Director - Business Development, Sales & Partnerships you will work with customers, product management, product marketing and the leadership team to define Aparavi’s Enterprise strategy and build and execute on a plan.  In addition, you will be responsible for developing and executing partner strategies.  You will wear many hats including Sales and Account Management as we scale the business.   Your contribution will accelerate our rapid growth and shape the company’s future.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Work with the CEO & VP BusDev to define and execute our enterprise sales strategy and roadmap
  • Understand the company mission and live Aparavi core values
  • Craft enterprise sales strategies for both bottom-up and top-down approach
  • Take ownership of sales cycle from lead to enterprise wide- platform roll-out
  • Develop new Enterprise customer relationships and close sales opportunities utilizing your superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Generate new business opportunities, independently, and work full sales cycle deals
  • Work with the product team to identify opportunities for product improvement based on your assessment of customer needs and market landscape
  • Ensure Enterprise is part of Aparavi’s overall marketing message
  • Collaborate within the Business Development team to enable our partners, drive revenue and scale the program
  • Enable Aparavi’s growth by providing ongoing knowledge transfer and enablement

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Must have a startup mentality with the ability to wear multiple hats  
  • Strong understanding of Archive and Data Management solutions, the competitive and political landscape, as well as partner eco-systems within the industry
  • Minimum 8 years enterprise SaaS business development, solution selling experience delivering exponential sales growth
  • Highly skilled to successfully work across an enterprise environments, developing ROI and cost justification analysis
  • Successful track record in developing relationship with key decision makers and influencers while closing large deals across an enterprise with recurring revenues and licenses
  • Strong attention to detail and precision at every step in order to achieve revenue goals
  • Experience in building high performing teams.
  • Skilled at influencing with and without authority and is viewed by others as a role model for humility, accountability and delivering results.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations
