SEO & Content Strategist
Client Strategy + Research | Clayton, MO | Full Time
The Content Strategist will analyze data and strategic inputs to aid in the development of messages, stories and various content types (ie: website and landing page, email, social, infographic, etc.) to be distributed through multiple channels.
They are a multichannel strategist with a passion for planning effective content and driving advanced SEO strategies, while offering creative solutions to meet the clients’ business and marketing objectives.
They understand their clients’ business and marketing objectives as well as the importance of crafting high-performing content that is synchronized with the client brief and brand strategy.
They will work closely with their projects’ relevant subject matter expert groups such as project management, paid media, email, SEO, and decision science and analytics to bring their clients’ goals to life in tangible and measurable ways.
They will actively participate in daily stand-up, internal and external meetings, trainings, and working sessions.
Note: Full or partial work-from-home allowed with this position. We have an office that some employees love using, but we love supporting our remote team!
Concept impactful content that is shareable across various touchpoints
Manage and meet deadlines, set and follow priorities, and maintain a high-level of personal responsibility
Have a working understanding of the different aspects of marketing and the importance of synergy in creative messaging
Manage content strategy deliverables for assigned clients
Analyze and interpret data to inform content decisions
Collect all pertinent information and work to deliver an approach that can be presented to the client
Participate in developing and delivering client presentations
Co-lead cross-department brainstorming sessions
Operate with strong comprehensive understanding of evolving organic search ranking factors, including the following disciplines: competitive research, keyword research and targeting, and SEO (e.g. technical, local, on-page, off-page)
Identify with and understand clients’ goals and lead the identification, prioritization, implementation, and ongoing management of advanced SEO initiatives
Remain up to date on industry trends, Google best practices, SEO-related updates and opportunities
Constantly analyze and quantify the performance of SEO initiatives in an effort to refine efficiency and effectiveness

A minimum 3 years’ experience acquiring audiences through content strategies and execution; aptitude to measure and report on key marketing metrics required.
A minimum 1 years’ experience mapping and creating content aligned to multiple buyer journeys
A minimum 1 years’ SEO planning, implementation, and analysis of comprehensive SEO campaigns
Excellent writing skills with ability to present complex information simply and in an engaging manner; strong attention to detail and a passion for proofreading are required
Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
