Director of Program and Project Management (Computer Systems)

Job Description

Direct, coordinate, and guide multiple teams in designing and implementing the company’s proprietary social e-commerce platform and other social software applications. Confer with clients and discuss their business needs. Analyze client requirements and define the scope, timeline, and budget for projects. Delegate individual responsibilities and direct team members during the entire project lifecycle. Oversee the creation of initial technical documentation and designs using programming languages and tools such as MySQL, Application Programming Interface (API), Software Development Kits (SDK), PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Review and finalize technical documentation and designs. Design test plans to assess areas including database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability. Create test schedules and lead team members in performing software testing methods. Define and implement long-term goals and objectives for developing the social e-commerce platform. Consult manuals, journals, and other resources in order to identify best strategies for utilizing social networks to increase e-commerce revenue. Conduct research on the latest advances in cloud services architecture and marketing cloud services such as Magento, Shopify, and Salesforce. Communicate with clients regularly in order to apprise them of project status, market the social commerce platform, and acquire new business opportunities for the company.

Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with computer-related coursework, plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related position. It requires skills and knowledge in MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Application Programming Interface (API), Software Development Kits (SDK) and marketing cloud services such as Magento, Shopify, and Salesforce.
