Client Strategist

Job Description

Ampush is looking for a passionate and high-performing Client Strategist to be at the heart of
our high-level client service, building client relationships by day, and working on
optimization using data by night. This role requires working closely with the senior client
team as well as the product and media buying teams to manage and develop relationships with
our current and prospective clients to ensure that goals are met on all sides. Competitive pay and equity come with cool snacks, a variety of yummy catered culinary adventures, and beers/vino. How cool is that!

+ Act as a primary point of contact for clients, communicating quickly and effectively
+ Coordinate between clients and all internal teams to accomplish various tasks
+ Utilize Excel and Powerpoint to analyze client data, optimize campaigns, and syndicate
feedback with media team and clients
+ Help build and manage client pipeline, including new clients and spend of current clients
+ Work closely with senior client team, product team, and media buyers to understand client
issues and develop new lines of business
+ Build deep client relationships and understand client needs to drive through the
+ Drive additional revenue and growth from clients
+ Develop case studies and presentations
+ Conduct competitive analysis to understand industry and maintain edge
+ Understand performance marketing
+ Ask smart questions and be innovative
+ Manage expectations internally and externally for product builds, media buying and
+ Help manage media mix and optimization across clients

+ Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic performance at a top school, ideally majoring in
Business or Economics
+ No prior industry experience necessary – fresh grads welcome. However, must have
insatiable appetite for developing professional skills, including written & verbal
communication, analytics, and business logic.
+ Flexible, startup mind-set, used to a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to juggle multiple clients at the same time
+ Extremely personable, articulate and charismatic
+ Strong interest in start-ups, internet technology, online advertising
+ Very analytical, detail-oriented and excellent with time-management
+ Comfortable explaining difficult concepts
+ Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint

+ Any previous analytical or client experience
+ Familiarity with SEO or SEM
+ Previous experience with startups
+ Previous experience with business productivity software, including Client Relationship
Management (CRM) products, email tools, etc.
