Senior Accounting Manager
Finance | Hybrid in New York, NY | Full Time | From $120,000 to $140,000 per year
Job Summary:
Laxxon Medical is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to join our US corporate headquarters. This role reports to the Controller and is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of the unique financial complexities of the Life Sciences sector. In this position, you will become a strategic partner in our growth and will own the full accounting cycle along with the Controller, to ensure our global counterparts are financially aligned.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and the General Ledger.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to provide leadership with a clear view of cash runway and financial results.
Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Conduct internal audits to ensure rigorous compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and internal controls.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare workpapers for tax filings and statutory reports.
Facilitate and coordinate financial support for international counterparts. This includes reconciling cross-border transactions and ensuring global financial alignment.
Collaborate with department heads to identify and automate finance workflows, transforming manual tasks into scalable digital processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and a CPA.
4–8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience with demonstrated ownership of procurement/AP and corporate accounting functions.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, manufacturing, or R&D a plus.
NetSuite experience.
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Must establish and maintain eligibility for international travel, meeting all local and international TSA/regulatory guidelines to support global offices.
Pay Range & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. The pay range provided is an estimated base range for this role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
