Chief of Staff 

This is a unique opportunity to lay the groundwork for a growing business: From a strategic standpoint and vision, support the Leadership teams who architect, build, and ship the first web application for our VR training content. This organization has found incredible traction delivering best-in-class VR experiences and now needs the scalable cloud platform to scale those out to rapidly growing customer demand.

Day to day, youʼll collaborate directly with our leaders; discuss functional challenges and objectives with the team, and bring the ability to both zoom out to the strategy and dig into the details. Brining with you best practices across scaling organizations.

What you’ll do 

Reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving high impact initiatives but most importantly your top responsibility will be to be the glue to help the senior leadership team drive strategic efforts and OKRs. This role requires a high level of organization and structure, dedication and great attention to detail, acute IQ and EQ skills and effective communication.

Project Management:

  • Identify, prioritize and surface topics and issues that require COO & CEOs attention along with suggestions for mitigation or resolution.

  • Partner with functional leaders to develop and execute on their strategic plans.

  • Develop our information with an accurate portrayal of the accomplishments, risks, and opportunities within the company.

  • Help the CEO filter and align their time to focus on key priorities of the business including setting cadences, agendas, and logistics.

  • Define key priorities and translate them into comprehensive plans.

  • Support each organizational leader in developing and evaluating new initiatives. Keep the broader executive team informed on progress against these initiatives.

Meeting Management:

  • Organize and manage team meetings, events, and presentations. Diligent documentation of notes and takeaways from each meeting, follow ups and follow through on outcomes of each meeting.

  • Setting up meetings and agendas for the C-Suite. Organizing next steps and takeaways of each meeting.

  • Set up schedules of follow ups and project managing to timelines and requirements.

  • Organizing presentations, deliverables and historical data and presentations, archiving in an easy to find manner.

  • Strategic thought partner to the CEO & COO on planning and thinking in the next.

  • Organize, gather and turn into presentation-ready, high visibility, high impact C-suite presentations with an acute attention to detail.

  • Architecting and delivering crisp agendas, synthesis of meetings, prioritized next steps and presentations.

Who you are

  • A leader, bringing solid, proven processes and practices for rapidly growing organizations.

  • 15+ years of experience within a Business Operations leadership position.

  • Able to shape end to end business deliverables with articulated missions, charters, performance criteria, and stakeholder buy-in.

  • Ability to think quick, take on challenges, and end to end problem solve.

  • Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills for a geographically dispersed audience.

  • Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on tight timelines.

  • Strong executive presence with ability to manage through high-intensity, high-pressure scenarios.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.

  • Must haves: Excel skills, Advanced Powerpoint skills, Advanced Microsoft Word skills or equivalent.

  • Able to drive results through indirect influence.
