The Platform Solutions Director will lead technology adoption and business growth across Amobee’s Agency Trading Desk customers. In this role, the Platform Solutions Director will be responsible for the business relationships across major Agency Trading Desks and will guide the use of the Amobee platform and automated buying activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
·Create strategic customer engagement, including leading and motivating a cross-functional team of Sales Directors, Platform Solutions Managers, Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Client Strategy and Training resources to ensure success against the Agency Trading Desk business.
Directly oversee a team of Platform Solutions Managers who are responsible for self-service customer success as the client adopts Amobee’s technology for automated media planning and buying, data integration, campaign optimization, delivery and performance analytics.
Project manage account wide technology integrations such as API integrations, DMP integrations, and vetting of custom requests.
Partner with the sales team to pursue new growth opportunities, and build senior, advisory relationships throughout the client organization.
Establish trusted client relationships at all levels, from junior operations through senior executives, the PSD will serve as the Amobee Marketing Platform subject matter expert.
Act as advocate for the customer internally, driving product requests and prioritization over the customer lifecycle.
Forecast, manage, and achieve quarterly targets around revenue, while establishing client best practices, and developing new processes to help the customer relationship scale.
Increase the stickiness and revenue of existing relationships by selling customers on deeper, more strategic engagements – via new technology features/capabilities, additional inventory/demand, RTB/programmatic buying/selling, and/or connecting to private exchanges.
8-12 years of account management experience, 5-7 years of online advertising experience; emphasis on video, display and/or programmatic a plus.
Passionate about technology and leading high performance teams.
Deep understanding of agency holding companies, trading desks, and media agencies.
Proven ability to conduct business and manage client relationships with a sense of accountability and urgency, but also willing to be “in the trenches” with the team to ensure executional excellence on behalf of assigned accounts.
Experience in management of programmatic ad delivery, optimization and/or yield management as well as working with, in, and speaking to tech implementation and tagging integrations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience managing a team a plus.
