Employee Title: Office Administrator
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer


Primary Objective

The Office Administrator manages all daily office operations. He/she will oversee Human Resources, Facilities Management and Office Administration.  The position will also require the development and implementation of organizational strategies and policies for the refinement of best practices in each area of functional management and all supporting departments.


  • The primary responsibilities of the Office Administrator are to improve processes and policies, introduce and deploy best practices, manage administrative staff and play a proactive role in long-term organizational and strategic planning.
  • Specific duties fall into a variety of categories such as:

Office Management: supervision of all daily office operations, negotiation of contracts, management of vendor relationships, primary liaison to building landlord and oversight office of operating procedures.

Technology: Oversight and evaluation of network administration and telecom in addition to other information systems.

Finance: Develops and manages budget for the administrative functions, reviews operating costs and suggests cost saving measures.

Human Resources: Assists management with hiring of technical and operations personnel maintains personnel records, supervision of administrative staff, monitoring insurance coverage and ensuring personnel policies are up-to-date and meet standard compliance requirements.


  • Position requires a minimum of five + years in a management role from a technology oriented firm or professional services environment.  Preference for a four year degree but this may be waived if transferrable experience is significant.
