Software Project Manager

 Project Management balances communication and relationship dynamics with the need for structural accountability via objective benchmarks, timelines, and budgets in order to demonstrate continued value to the customer. As a member of our Project Management team, you will be collaborating to identify risk, remove roadblocks, and help to coach and mentor in a hybrid/enterprise Agile environment. You will be working closely with product teams and key stakeholders - both in our U.S. office and in Vietnam - to help manage project work in a way that drives value and achieves specific, measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage project deliverables and dependencies to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-value delivery for projects that span one or more teams

  • Independently gather and report information about project team performance against metrics

  • Manage team members' work effectively, driving project work from start to finish with consistent and reliable execution

  • Help to refine structures for managing onshore/offshore collaboration

  • Refine methods for tracking and delivering work from teams in our Vietnam office which can be leveraged to report-out on work/process health

  • Manage/mitigate risk and do so in partnership with Team Lead and Product Manager. Escalate when risks materially impact budget, scope and/or schedule, or cannot be easily remedied within the PJM's span of control. Escalate questions of priority


  • Report profitability for project work on a weekly basis. Ensure project ticket structure and team time submissions align with practices. Escalate when overall total exceeds +10% relative to project completion

  • Educate and coach team members on project delivery processes and practices


  • Demonstrate and practice schedule management, resource management, and reporting management

  • Assist the team(s) in removing ambiguity from all aspects of project work and delivery


  • Participate in tactical planning of projects scheduled to start within a quarter with regards to scheduling and resourcing.



The Big 5:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of progressive career growth in software project management 
  • 1+ years of client-facing experience in B2B environment
  • Track record of high performance in a team-oriented environment: exceeding KPI's, goals, and customer satisfaction metrics (on time and on budget) 
  • Practice in Agile, Lean, Kanban, Scrum, Six Sigma, and other methodologies and is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
