Full Stack Software Developer

Software Development | Jacksonville Beach, FL | Full Time

Job Description

About us:

AltSource is a successful and growing custom software development company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We build custom software for interesting and challenging domains. We don’t just build software. We build lasting customer partnerships that help our customers grow their business. It’s why we love what we do. That’s why, no matter the job title, from fullstack developer to designer and everyone in between, we collaborate with our customers on a daily basis.

Last year, we almost doubled in size, and we made the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list for the 3rd year in a row. We're growing so well that we’ve open up an office in the Jacksonville Beach area.

About this full stack development role:
As a software developer in our co-located Jacksonville Beach team, you will collaborate with your Agile development team members and AltSource clients to design, code, and test software that addresses real business needs, along real business timelines. You will get to know clients, understand their goals and product vision, and shape the “how” of solutions. You will reconcile complicated and ever-changing business rules with maintainable, testable code. You will demo your work with the team and sometimes with clients, and share how your solution meets their goals. And you’re continually thinking ahead to how your team’s software can help our customers grow.

Bottom line: this is the opportunity to build software that matters to real people and their businesses.

Needed skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have full SDLC experience with .NET MVC projects using C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. You’ll bring extensive experience coding enterprise-level software, writing maintainable and testable code in a shared code base, and you’ll have solid skills in modern object-oriented programming languages and enterprise design patterns

You’ll have a track record of supporting your team members, avoiding complexity, adapting to changes, and learning to apply new technology and domain knowledge.

If this sounds like a great role and an ideal work environment, we’d love to hear from you!
