Why this Role? Why Now?

We are seeking a proven Sales and Business Development leader that can take us to the next level. A top-performer in this role would formally build out our Sales function, galvanizing belief amongst the team via strong coaching and mentorship, while driving revenue and opening new territories, verticals, and business-channel opportunities. In short, we need someone to initiate the strategic growth of the organization with the execution to navigate mid-market and enterprise level prospects and close new business. This person will need to be focused on getting their hands dirty, helping to build a consistency sales funnel while growing and leading the team!


  • Build a high-performing Sales / Business Development function

  • Meet and exceed defined KPI's based on company growth goals and objectives

  • Work with Marketing, Product and Development and Leadership teams to ideate new revenue streams via products, services, territories and verticals

  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor Sales Executives and Business Development Representatives 

  • Own sales documents, talk-tracks, process, and collateral that allow for repeatable wins and predictable forecasting/reporting

  • Build and own the Sales funnel, leveraging the information for reporting, forecasting, and continued insight into the customer journey 

  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine an authentic, compelling value proposition

The Big 5:

  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)

  • 10+ years of progressive career movement in Sales with a strong focus on technology, minimum of 3 years in Sales leadership building and managing teams of "hunters" 

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train sales executives to navigate and close large mid-market to large enterprise consulting/services engagements

  • Proven success in Executive Selling model within custom software or professional services 

  • Track record of high performance in achieving team quota and organizational revenue goals
